weVENTURE/JA Be Entrepreneurial Business Plan Challenge

Wednesday, February 22, 2017, Student First Round of Competition (student only event)

Thursday, February 23, 2017: LIVE - Final competition round will occur at the Cocoa Village Playhouse (open to public).

Co-hosted by weVENTURE Powered by Florida Institute of Technology, in collaboration with Junior Achievement of the Space Coast

weVENTURE and Junior Achievement will host a Be Entrepreneurial Business Plan Challenge for high school students on February 22, 2017. The participants, who are in high school and 18 years of age or under, qualified for the challenge by completing the JA Be ´╗┐Entrepreneurial program in the classroom or graduating from the weVENTURE-JA Summer Entrepreneurship Camp.  

Awards and Florida Institute of Technology scholarships are offered to 1st place winners of the competition. They can compete individually or as part of a small group of 2-4 members.

2016 Results: Jam Circle placed in 1st place, and PraVita Bands placed 2nd place. 

Each year, more than 25 teams compete to in the Be Entreprneurial Business Plan Challenge.  Over 100 students, teachers, community leaders, business professionals and judges support the event.
