U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA)

weVENTURE WBC at Florida Institute of Technology's Nathan M. Bisk College of Business, is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.  Because the coaching program is federally funded, we do not discriminate based on race or gender and coaching services are available to all entrepreneurs. Each year, 20% - 30% of clients are men or family partnerships.

Florida Tech is required to match the $150,000 annual SBA grant with non-federal funding.  This is accomplished through the generous support of individuals in the community, private businesses and grants.  The SBA funding and generous support of the community allows us to offer coaching services at no cost to clients.  Other weVENTURE programs, such as IGNITE 360 Business Mentoring Program, CEO Peer Groups, and the Athena Leadership program are fee-for-service and supported by additional private funding.

weVENTURE WBC also engages the community by encouraging experienced business professionals to volunteer their time and expertise in addition to their generous financial support.
