Women Who Rock Awards 2022

The 2022 Women's History Month theme, “Providing Healing, Promoting Hope,” is both a tribute to the ceaseless work of caregivers and frontline workers during this ongoing pandemic and also a recognition of many ways that women are stepping up to lead during this challenging time.
This year, in particular, we recognize the importance of those who help to promote and sustain hope for a better future. In fitting with the national theme, weVENTURE WBC is pleased to announce that each of our 6 categories for the annual Women Who Rock Awards will incorporate this message of healing and hope as we celebrate deserving local female leaders and businesses. We are also pleased to add the St. Francis Reflections Award for Excellence in Caregiving, as an opportunity to recognize one local healthcare provider or professional who has demonstrated extraordinary commitment to patient care.
Women have long advocated for compassionate approaches and new directions in public health, business and civic life. Women have also historically led the way in mending divisions, healing wounds, and finding peaceful solutions that allow us as individuals and collective communities to recover and move forward together.
Congratulations to all of the 2022 Women Who Rock Nominees and especially to the Award Recipients!

Women Who Rock Testimonial from Nominee, Crystal Morris:
Have you ever been happy to have lost something? Listen! I hollered for Tammy like they called my name. Congratulations, Queen, on your award for Excellence in Mentoring. This GIFT is a 23-year veteran who mentors veterans, young military women, sexual assault survivors, youth fighting adversity, and their families to help them move to healing and thriving. We won when you WON!
P.S... I don't know Tammy. But we don't need to know each other personally to celebrate each other. Clap loudly and unrelenting for others while you wait on your flowers...they are coming. They are just blooming beautifully to be worthy of you.
