The weVENTURE Women's Business Center (WBC) IMPACT Grant Program was created as a philanthropic function of the League of Extraordinary Investors to support the growth and sustainability of women-owned businesses through awards of unrestricted funds. Applications will be accepted June 1 - July 18, 2025, after which semifinalists will be contacted by our Grant Committee for further vetting. Between July 28th - August 14, 2025, the Committee will decide on the top three finalists. Finalists will be announced on August 18th. Pitch Development will take place August 25th - September 29, 2025. Pitch Decks are due, with NO exceptions, on September 30th. Finalists will be invited to pitch their business at the 2025 IMPACT Summit on October 2nd, where final funding awards will be announced.
THE FOLLOWING ARE THE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE weVENTURE IMPACT GRANT PROGRAM:
- Woman-Owned Business means any registered organization or enterprise providing products or services that is at least 51% or more woman owned. Family partnerships qualify where ownership is 50-50.
- For-profit business that has been registered with the State of Florida and generating revenues for a minimum of two (2) years, is located in Brevard, Indian River, St. Lucie, or Martin Counties, and is an active client of weVENTURE WBC (established with a business coach or participated in weVENTURE WBC educational programming.)
- While these funds are considered unrestricted, grant judges are interested in funding business activities that will support businesses sustainable growth within the Space and/or Treasure Coasts.
- All finalists agree to participate in a pitch presentation at the 2025 IMPACT Summit on October 2nd detailing their proposal with desired outcomes as part of the award competition. NOTE: Applicants are eligible to receive free coaching and training to support this requirement.
- This application must be filled out completely for consideration. Missing or inaccurate information will not be accepted.
- The types of businesses not eligible for funding under this Program include: non-profit organizations, real estate investment firms, multi-level marketing companies, gun shops, shops that sell drug paraphernalia, pawn shops, bail bond services, check cashing facilities, adult entertainment facilities, and any business or service deemed illegal.
- This document must be read, and agreed to in its entirety, prior to submitting the application.
All corporate investors who donate $2,500 or more* are recognized by the weVENTURE WBC year-round as an Equity Partner-level investor on our website and during all business education and training events.
$150 - One ticket to the event and luncheon and a business-card-sized ad in the event program
$250 - Two tickets to the event and luncheon and a quarter-page ad in the event program
$250 Vendor Table - Two tickets to the event and luncheon, a quarter-page ad in the event program and one of a limited number of vendor tables to promote your business to attendees
$500 - Four tickets to the event and luncheon, and a quarter-page ad in the event program
$1,000 Breakout Room Sponsor - Four tickets to the event and luncheon, a half-page ad in the event program and recognition as a breakout session sponsor including opportunity to introduce the speaker (six available)
The following sponsor levels include four tickets to the event and luncheon OR two tickets to the event and a vendor table, as well as a half-page ad in the event program.
$2,500 Breakfast Sponsor - Business recognized on signage at the morning coffee and breakfast display (two available)
$2,500 Step and Repeat Sponsor - Business logo included in the step and repeat banner used for photo opportunities
$5,000 Presenting Sponsor - Logo included on all event promotional materials, as well as the opportunity to introduce the keynote speaker
$1,000 ANNUAL WEVENTURE SPONSORSHIP
weVENTURE is the leading regional voice and resource for female entrepreneurs and professional women. Investment from the local community allows us to provide low/no-cost business education and training to entrepreneurs in Brevard, Indian River, Martin and St. Lucie Counties. weVENTURE must fundraise to match the $150,000 annual grant from the U.S. Small Business Administration.
