IMPORTANT: Full and partial scholarships are offered pending availability of funds for weVENTURE Business Education and select programs only.  Scholarships are NOT transferable to Florida Tech credit courses or Continued Education workshops and programs.

Community Partner Scholarships

 Community partners and private donors my choose to provide full or partial scholarships to clients who may have monetary barriers that limit access to resources to grow sustainable businesses.  Scholarships are based on demonstration of economic need and subject to the availability of scholarships funds.

Special thanks to community partners Wells Fargo, Bank of America, the Community Foundation of Brevard, and the Zonta Club of Melbourne for funding scholarships year after year. 

If you are a business owner in Brevard, Indian River, St. Lucie, or Martin counties, you may qualify for a scholarship to participate in our signature IGNITE 360® Business Mentoring Program or the Athena Leadership program.  Email weventure@fit.edu to request a scholarship application. 

Zonta/Meehan Scholarship Program

The Zonta Club of Melbourne, provides scholarships to individuals who may have monetary barriers but want to improve their quality of life, their independence and self-sufficiency. Named in honor of the Meehan family, the scholarship is a needs-based program designed to support women in Brevard County wishing to improve their life through education. Must meet all program qualification requirements and conditions to qualify for a partial scholarship.

The Zonta Club of Melbourne is a member of Zonta International, a global organization of male and female executives and professionals working together to advance the status of women worldwide through service and advocacy.
